A Taste of the HillA Taste of the Hill is a community-driven street festival on Centre Avenue celebrating the culture, creativity, and legacy of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. Born out of a need to create space, this event brings together Black-owned businesses, food vendors, artists, performers, and community organizations for a day rooted in joy, resilience, and ownership.
With the New Granada Theater as its backdrop, the streets come alive with live music, local flavor, art, and connection. From food trucks to handmade goods, from youth to elders, A Taste of the Hill is a reflection of a community that continues to show up, support itself, and thrive.
