The Beautiful Journey of the Panda Bears Told by a Saxophone Player who had a Lover in Frankfurt A Play by Matei Visniec performed by Vas Eli & Naomi Bah
In this offbeat romantic comedy, a bohemian musician wakes up to find a woman in his bed, with no memory of how she or he got there. Drawing him in with her calm demeanor, she recounts their wild adventure to his place. Despite the chaos and uncertainty, he is intrigued by her confidence and asks her to stay. She leaves with a promise to return that night, and he agrees to wait.
Over the next nine nights, they discover a lifetime together—journeying through space and time, bound by a promise and a bottle of wine. At least one of them has a life lesson to learn. They find that sometimes, perfection lies in the simplest things: a saxophone, the moments in between, and a broken alarm clock.
Presented as a staged reading in the theater at Brooklyn Art Haus followed by a talk back with the actors and drink and food specials from The MOUTH.
