This experience takes place in The Gwen Hotel’s Private Affairs space on the 5th floor, just across from the Upstairs at The Gwen restaurant.

What to Expect:

Welcome Toast: Begin the evening with a welcome glass of Unshackled Sparkling wine, paired with a West Coast oyster topped with Asian pear mignonette — a bright, elegant way to ease into the night and set the creative mood.

Guided Candle-Making Workshop: Enjoy an interactive candle-making workshop with Ivy from TEN|4 Candle Co. Ivy will guide you through scent curation, measuring, mixing, and pouring your own beautiful handmade concrete candle. You’ll even get to design your own custom label. No experience needed, and all supplies are included in this workshop.

All of TEN|4 Candle Co.’s products are proudly made in Chicago, IL — vegan, sustainable, and crafted with non-toxic ingredients. You’ll take home your custom creation in a beautifully wrapped box.

Wine Tasting & Paired Bites: Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring the acclaimed Harvey & Harriet and My Favorite Neighbor wines—crafted with passion, character, and a commitment to quality.
