Join artist and storyteller Naomi Steinberg for The Goosefeather Kamishibai, an intimate morning storytelling experience inspired by her 382-day journey around the Earth without using an airplane.
During her travels, Naomi performed in a library in Japan, where she discovered kamishibai—a traditional Japanese storytelling form using illustrated cards in a small wooden frame, brought to life through voice and movement. Once a beloved form of street storytelling, kamishibai blends bold imagery with gentle theatricality and is engaging for audiences of all ages.
The Goosefeather Kamishibai weaves stories from Naomi’s global travels, exploring curiosity, resilience, empathy, and care for the Earth.
