For The Living Earth is the musical collaboration of Galen Hefferman and Jahnavi Veronica. They weave their songs together with haunting vocal harmonies, plucked and bowed strings, percussion, and the willing voices of those who show up – creating soundscapes rooted in dreams and communications with nature. For The Living Earth seeks to create songs that can be a balm for challenging times, to transform and revive, and to open to a full hearted life, twisting the fibers of the dream world and the waking world into one, speaking from the underground rivers that feed the springs that jump forth from wild, willed places. They make music as a way to give gifts to all who hear them, to the land they stand on, and to the clear stars above.

Chase Garber writes in the language of the dreaming heart, where meaning is refractive and emotions have flesh. Whether he’s using the piano, harp, synths, or electronics, the sensual primacy of nature provides the reference points for songs about love, violence, despair, and the quest for wholeness. He offers this music in good humor and in reverence to all creation.

______
Jon Luc "JL" Hefferman is a multi-instrumentalist composer, producer, and music educator from Portland Oregon releasing music under the monikers Eugene Hatman (folk, grunge, pop-punk) and Bill Quadrillion (self-sampling hyperpop, hyperfolk...hyper anything really). While the musical stylings of these artists seem to occupy contradictory sonic spaces at first glance, the two are deeply interwoven into a rich and deeply self-reflective story that is meant to unfold and evolve over the course of his life. With these two projects, Jon Luc explores the existential questions that overwhelm the minds of modern musicians who seek to create a sense of organic authenticity among a constantly shifting landscape of maximalist technological acceleration.

Finish Your Damn Album! Concert Series...
We are putting together two concerts in Portland, Oregon this February to help raise the money needed for all four of our album projects! (And possibly a small tour to come this Spring.) The first concert will be Saturday February 15th at Lajja Yoga, the second will be Friday February 28th at Leaven Community.
Thank you for joining us for these nights of music, while also supporting us in getting our music out into the wider world!
