I have something really special for you this month!!! My good friend @nathandjamesmusic is coming up from San Diego to play some live blues for us! He is just one guy, but don’t let that fool you… he has a full band sound! He sings and plays the harmonica while playing a guitar he built from a washboard, and at the same time his feet are busy playing a homemade vintage suitcase drum kit! He has been playing for San Diego swing dancers for years and has always been one of my favorite musicians to dance to! He has played internationally as well as at the Portland Blues Festival, and The Redwood Coast Music Festival! You don’t want to miss this!!! He will be playing @centralcoastbrewing for our Swing That Thang event on Friday 5/15, but he will also be playing at @primalhousepaso on Thursday 5/14 and at @niffysmerrimaker on Monday 5/18, so catch him at all three!https://nathandjames.com
The goal is to bring the dance communities together under one roof! Let’s dance it out! All types of swing and blues dancing welcome and encouraged! No segregation, just good music and good dancing! Latin dancers are also welcome… you can dance Bachata and Cha Cha Cha to blues too!
The HUB has a full dinner menu as well as beer and craft cocktails! Please support the venue by purchasing a food or beverage item. No cover charge. All ages welcome.
