The LAFD Foundation provides vital equipment and funds critical programs to help the LAFD save lives and protect communities.
Your local LAFD firefighters need your help to save lives and protect property during this wildfire. The LAFD Foundation is actively seeking funds to equip our LAFD members battling wildfires with equipment and supplies such as emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks, and wildland brush tools.
The LAFD Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization highly rated by Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and other independent nonprofit evaluators.

Dan Toomey is a writer, comedian, and actor living in Brooklyn, NY. He currently works as a video creator for Morning Brew and the host of their Good Work YouTube channel. His work has been featured in Vulture and McSweeneys. He regularly performs standup and improv comedy around New York. Dan loves to make fun of millionaire CEOs, except the ones who will adopt him. In 2022, Dan was selected as New York Comedy Festival “Content Creator to Watch.”
