A Night for Guy
Part musical showcase, part intimate vigil, A Night for Guy is Houston’s celebration of the life and songs of Guy Clark. Now in its 8th year, A Night for Guy consistently features performances from top Houston musicians, while a few extra special guests have made for unforgettable nights. Past surprises have included Lyle Lovett, Hayes Carll, and Kam Franklin.
Verlon Thompson and Shawn Camp, two of Guy's closest friends and most trusted collaborators, return to lead the celebration this year.
A not-for-profit event, A Night for Guy fairly compensates all performers and donates proceeds to the Guy Clark Family Foundation.
