Join us for an afternoon of elegance and excitement at A Harlem Renaissance Tea Party hosted by History With A Twist. At this 1920s Harlem-inspired event, you will engage in good conversation, good music, and your taste buds will be awakened by a delightful tea menu.
But that's not all folks! In celebration of BLACK HISTORY MONTH, this event will include exhibits and displays about the Harlem Renaissance, which was an intellectual, social, and artistic explosion centered in Harlem, NY in the 1920s and 1930s. We will pay homage to key figures of the era, including writers like Langston Hughes and Zora Neale Hurston; musicians such as Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong; artists like Augusta Savage and Jacob Lawrence; and many others.
"Take the A Train" to this cultural and educational tea party experience. It will be like no other.
The event will start promptly at 12:00 pm. Doors will open at 11:45 am. Seats are limited.
