This walk is part of a series of history walks arranged by Rock Mill Centre and New Mills Walkers are Welcome. Leader Mike Daniels has a keen interest in local history and freely admits to being “talkative”.The walk starts outside the Rock Mill Centre (behind the Bus Station) to the canal and more, and back again. There are inclines and steps to navigate, with nine mills on the journey. About 3 miles.

Timing: Starts at 10:00am; End time is approximate.
Tickets: No booking required; just show up. If you wish to make a donation, Rock Mill Centre has a donation box, or you may use your card at the electronic donation point just inside the door.
