About this Event
Later this year Rochester's longest running commercial art gallery, , will close it's doors. The gallery's owners will retire after over 30 years of successful stewardship. will celebrate long history as well it's owners, Jim & Ginny Hall, at this tribute event.
In addition to celebrating the history and legacy of this wonderful art institution, attendees will be able to experience the gallery's final exhibition titled, "The Faces and Facets of Freedom", featuring works of art created by more than 30 regional artists (listed below) in a wide range of styles.
Program description
5:30 pm until 6:00 pm - Social Mixer
Take the first 30 mintues to walk through the current exhibition, "The Faces and Facets of Freedom" and chat with other attendees.
6:00 pm - Tribute Program
Rome Celli will welcome attendees and introduce the owner(s) of . Rome will talk briefly about the history & legacy of . A champagne toast will follow. (Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic champagne will be available to attendees.)
After the toast attendees will be encouraged to revisit the exhibition and, if tempted, purcahse their favorite work(s) from the show. Works of art on exhibit that have not already been sold will be available for sale at the event.
The event is FREE and open to the public but attendees must register in advance here on Eventbrite.
The number of spaces at this unique program is limited due to the nature of the program.
