About this Event
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking fireside chat with IE Professor Concepción Galdón and IE alumnus Anthony Levy, Founder of Circularity First—one of the world’s leading groups of sustainable IT companies.
Anthony Levy is an award-winning entrepreneur whose work is reshaping how global organisations think about technology, sustainability, and impact.
As the founder of Circularity First, a group with business hubs in California (USA), Aalborg (Denmark), and Poynton (UK), he has built a purpose-driven enterprise dedicated to keeping IT equipment in use for longer. Through innovative Circular Economy solutions, Circularity First has already prevented nearly one million kilograms of IT hardware from becoming e-waste—one of the fastest-growing environmental challenges of our time.
Earlier this year, Anthony’s pioneering leadership earned him techUK’s prestigious Planet Award, recognising his contributions to sustainable entrepreneurship and his influence in driving the industry toward more responsible IT systems.
In this conversation with Professor Galdón, the two will explore:
- Anthony’s journey as an IE alumnus and global entrepreneur
- What it takes to build and scale a purpose-driven business
- How circular-economy principles are transforming the tech sector
- The role of systems thinking in designing solutions with positive environmental and social impact
- Practical insights for organisations seeking to reduce e-waste, extend hardware lifecycles, and balance performance, profitability, and sustainability
Drawing on Professor Galdón’s expertise in sustainability and systems thinking, participants will leave with actionable tools to rethink traditional linear business models and unlock new opportunities for innovation and impact.
