About this Event
Follow in the footsteps of world-famous storyteller, Charles Dickens, as we take a scenic walk through the atmospheric alleys and streets of the historic City of London. See the beautiful marketplace where Victorian Londoners bought their Christmas goose or turkey - and hear the story of one plucky bird that escaped. Marvel at the world’s first indoor shopping market, now home to luxury retailers. Wander through cobbled streets to view the boutiques and twinkling Christmas lights of beautiful Bow Lane.
We end the tour at a community hub in the Fleet Street quarter, where you can relax, chat with fellow walkers over a drink, and find out about the great work of City-based charity Suited & Booted, whose community engagement and support changes lives.
The walk is led by qualified City of London guide Sarah Williams-Robbins, aka Mrs Londoner.
**10% of ticket sales will be donated to Suited & Booted**
