A Different Thread celebrates the release of their new album Over Again with a full band live show at ‘Local 506’ in Chapel Hill, NC.Known for their harmony-rich, award winning songs, A Different Thread (AKA Alicia Best and Robert Jackson) blend alt-country, American roots, and English folk into a warm, dynamic live show.
The new album Over Again marks a full-circle moment for the transatlantic duo as they finally put down roots in North Carolina, a decade after meeting busking in Ireland. The album will be available on CD and vinyl at the show.
A Different Thread are joined by a special guest band of musicians from the local scene including; Wood Robinson (Mipso), Jennifer Curtis, Omar Ruiz-Lopez, Paul Youngblood, and Alan Best (The Tan and Sober Gentlemen).
