As part of ABFF’s 30th Anniversary celebration, American Airlines presents a special Legacy Talk honoring the career of Regina King, marking her return to the festival. This intimate conversation traces her journey across film and television—from breakout roles to her Academy Award-winning work and evolution as a director and cultural force.
Accompanied by a curated selection of clips, the discussion explores longevity in Hollywood, creative risk-taking, and the responsibility of legacy. Both celebratory and reflective, the session positions Regina King as a blueprint for artistic excellence and lasting impact.

Event Entry
Festival passes and individual event tickets ('credentials') grant entry to specific events and screenings on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees must present a credential to enter ABFF events."
Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Lines form 45 minutes prior, and doors open approximately 30 minutes before each event.
Admission is not guaranteed and is on a first-come, first-served basis. It is also subject to state and local laws, including venue capacity, health and safety guidelines, and age restrictions.
All Festival pass sales are final.
Individual event ticket holders who are not admitted due to venue capacity may be eligible for a refund by returning to the Registration Center and presenting proof of the unused ticket.
Festival events and activities where alcohol is served are restricted to those aged 21 and over. Pass or ticket holders who do not meet the age requirements will be denied access and will not receive a refund or credit for any part of the purchase price.
