Join us for an evening of joyful celebration and musical diversity at A Community in Song: NEMPAC Holiday Concert. This special event, led by Artistic Director Stefano Marchese, will highlight the rich cultural tapestry of our community through a variety of holiday music traditions from around the world. From the fun and festive opening by the NEMPAC Pop Stars Ensemble and the Eliot School Choir to the soul-stirring Hallelujah chorus finale, this concert promises something for everyone.
Featuring the talented NEMPAC Soloists and Choir, Formas String Quartet, and Arlington High School Chamber Orchestra directed by Maestro Tino D’Agostino, the program will include songs that reflect holiday celebrations from diverse cultural traditions. Experience the magic of Hanukkah, Christmas, and Black spirituals through captivating arrangements.
The evening will culminate in a powerful performance of Handel’s Hallelujah chorus, bringing together the entire ensemble of musicians and vocalists in a celebration of unity through music.
This 60 minute concert is perfect for all ages, blending classical and contemporary elements to create a festive, inclusive holiday experience.
