of "Chip Odyssey". The feature-length documentary that chronicles
Taiwan's 50-year rise as a global semiconductor powerhouse through the
human stories, sacrifices, and collective grit of its pioneering
engineers, will be followed by a panel discussion led by Dr. Ayman El
Tarabishy. The event is free to the GW community and the general

About the Film
A Chip Odyssey is a feature-length documentary featuring over 80 voices across generations, tracing how Taiwan built its semiconductor industry from the ground up and transformed it into a global technological powerhouse.
Through firsthand accounts from early engineers, factory workers, policymakers, and today’s young innovators, the film captures a pivotal chapter in modern technological history.
