A Celebration of Four Extraordinary WomenA night of thought-provoking, clever women — Rosemary Sullivan, Sheila Murray, Keosha Love and, of course, Karen Mulhallen — reading from their selected works in a gorgeous setting. Each woman is an activist in their own communities.
Rosemary Sullivan is a multiple award winning internationally renowned author of 16 books, including The Betrayal of Anne Frank, Stalin's Daughter and most recently, Where the World Was, a travel memoir. She writes in many genres -- biography, memoir, poetry and travel.
Sheila Murray's acclaimed novel, Finding Edward, has been called ‘remarkable,’ ‘powerful’ and ‘a touchstone.’ Her articles and short fiction have appeared in Canadian magazines and journals. Sheila leads an organization that facilitates a response to climate impacts in underprivileged urban neighbourhoods.
Keosha Love is a born storyteller who carries passion throughout all her work in realms of art, wellness, social change and culture. The multi-hyphenate has created platforms like Our Women's Voices and Black and Vulnerable and continues to tell stories that evoke change through her artistry as a poet, speaker, digital creator and aspiring screenwriter.
Award winning editor and poet, with more than 20 books of poetry, Karen Mulhallen, has spent her life working on literary and left wing magazines and journals while also lecturing, teaching literature, creative writing and fine art. Infamous for her commitment to four legged animals.
