A Breathwork Quest: Awaken & Grow

April is the month of growth; a time when the earth softens, the rains nourish, and new life pushes bravely toward the light. In this breathwork session, we honor April as a season of expansion, possibility, and the steady unfolding of our own inner potential.
As nature awakens in vibrant color, April invites us to awaken and grow with it. The seeds we’ve planted - intentions, dreams, quiet hopes - begin to stir beneath the surface. Through breath, we nurture these seeds, giving them the space, energy, and attention they need to grow.
This class is designed to help you: embrace new beginnings, release old patterns that limit growth, strengthen your inner resilience, expand your creativity and imagination, and align your breath with the natural rhythm of renewal.
April’s longer days and rising light remind us that growth is not only possible, it is inevitable. Even when challenges arise, this season encourages us to stay hopeful, patient, and committed to our path. Just as every blossom begins as a quiet bud, our own transformation unfolds step by step.
This session is an invitation to grow — gently, courageously, and with intention. Through breath, we create space for what wants to emerge. Through presence, we nurture the parts of ourselves ready to bloom.
The Breathwork Experience:
In this session, Hannah will guide you through a series of intentional breathing techniques, rhythmic patterns, and breath holds designed to open the body and expand consciousness. This style of breathwork supports physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well‑being by directly influencing the nervous system and the body’s internal rhythms.
As you learn to work with your breath and create spaciousness within the lungs, you cultivate a holistic mind‑body‑spirit harmony. Many participants experience reduced stress, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, depression, grief, chronic pain, and anger. Breathwork can also enhance energy, focus, mental clarity, athletic performance, and your sense of connection—to yourself, to others, and to the earth.
Ceremonial Tea:
We will begin with a warm cup of ceremonial Egyptian Blue Lotus tea. For more than 3,000 years, Blue Lotus was revered by ancient Egyptian priesthood for its medicinal qualities and its role as a sacred spiritual plant. Its gentle, consciousness‑expanding properties are often described as having a “divine” essence, inviting feelings of tranquility, openness, and subtle euphoria.
Preparation for Class:
-To support a deeper experience, please observe the following guidelines:
-Avoid caffeine for at least 2 hours before class.
-Avoid eating for 1 hour and drinking for 30 minutes beforehand.
-Empty your bowels and bladder prior to the session to minimize interruptions.
-After practice, we will offer soothing chamomile tea and fresh fruit to help you rehydrate, ground, and transition peacefully into your evening.
What to Expect:
-The practice takes place in a comfortable reclined position.
-A sleep mask is recommended to enhance the inner journey. One will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
-While the breathwork itself is deeply meditative, the music may surprise you. Sound is an integral part of the experience, shifting in energy and volume to support the breath, elevate emotion, and deepen focus.
-After the session, you will have approximately 30 minutes to journal, reflect, or participate in an optional group discussion.
What to Bring
-One or two cozy blankets from home.
-A sleep mask, if you prefer your own.
-A journal for post‑practice reflection.
-Loose, comfortable clothing. Avoid tight waistbands or restrictive sports bras to allow full, unrestricted breathing.
-Please arrive with bowels and bladder emptied to support an uninterrupted experience.
