About this Event
✊🏾 The Black Organizing Project invites you to A Breadth of Blackness, a parent and caregiver listening series. This is a dedicated space for us to pause, breathe, and speak openly about our lived experiences within the Oakland Unified School District (OUSD).
The goal is to honor lived experiences and strengthen trust to build collective power. Attendees will work together to uplift parent leaders and prepare for school-based organizing, advocacy, and collective action to ensure Oakland's Black community is seen and heard.
