Tennessee Ballet Theater invites you to do just that, be moved by the sounds of Memphis and DANCE with us at the 2026 edition of 901 Stories: Down on Beale. With so many hits, both heart breaking and full of joy to choose from in the Memphis music scene archives, this is a party, performance, experience you can’t afford to miss!
With choreography by local artists such as Camilla Curran, JD Bryant, Alyssa Abbas, and Max Robinson, a live performance by the silver tongued local legend, Kortland Whalum, and music by renowned Memphis made musicians like Alex Chilton, Furry Lewis, and Al Green, prepare to move and be moved by the Bluff City Blues!
Net proceeds from the event will benefit the crucial work of the Frayser Dance Project by Tennessee Ballet Theater, changing lives with free dance education, performances, and apparel in the Frayser community. Frayser Dance Project located at Girls Inc, is sponsored by Alliance Healthcare & Legacy of Legends.
