Beer in the Woods isn’t just about sampling local craft beers and beverages. It’s about connecting with nature, friends, and all your senses!
Please join us at LaBagh Woods in Chicago on Saturday, September 21, 1 - 5 p.m. (VIP admission at 1 p.m.) for this unique event that's been called "the best beer festival of the season." This is an all-ages event for drinkers and non-drinkers alike.
Held within the gorgeous groves of LaBagh Woods in Chicago, Beer in the Woods offers hours of fun for everyone:
- If you’re into craft beverages, you can enjoy tastings from a long list of local craft breweries and cideries, including special tappings and unique releases.
- If you’re into nature and nature programming, you can participate in expert-guided walks through LaBagh’s diverse landscapes and create art inspired by nature.
- If you’re into supporting local businesses, you’ll meet incredible business owners who are helping our neighborhoods thrive.

As a fundraiser, all proceeds from Beer in the Woods directly support our advocacy work, Conservation Corps programs, community engagement initiatives, and help to ensure that land, water, and life thrive in the forest preserves.

Transportation/parking options
- Driving: Enter at 5275 N Cicero Ave, just south of W Berwyn Ave. There is free parking throughout LaBagh Woods. We strongly encourage bringing a designated driver. Non-drinker tickets are available for $15.
- Biking: LaBagh Woods is accessible via the North Branch Trail, which runs for nearly 20 miles through Cook County. Bike racks will be provided at no cost to you! View a bike map to find the best route.
- Public transportation: LaBagh Woods is accessible via the #92 Foster Avenue bus. Eastbound stop #4757 (4659 W Foster Ave) and westbound stop #18560 (4720 W Foster Ave) will drop off right near our Registration pavillion.
- Rideshare service: Ask them to enter at 5275 N Cicero Ave and follow the signs.
