UpperEdge is proud to champion the 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes Walk for the second year in a row! This year’s walk will take place on Wednesday, June 24, and we are committed to making it even more impactful as we raise awareness and support for those living with 8p disorders.
We are walking in honor of our own little hero, Olivia. Olivia was born with Chromosome 8p, a rare genetic condition that affects approximately 550 children worldwide. Her strength, resilience, and spirit inspire us every single day. By stepping up for Olivia and for families across the world navigating 8p, we are standing beside them and reminding them they are not alone.
The 8,000 Steps for 8p Heroes Walk is more than just a walk. It is a chance for our community to come together with purpose, taking meaningful steps toward progress, greater visibility, and hope for every child and family affected by 8p.
