About this Event
Understand the Eightfold Path of Yoga
As the world spins fast, take a pause, breathe, and journey with us through the transformative Eightfold Path of Yoga. This isn't some esoteric spiritual practice, rather it's a pragmatic and purposeful roadmap that promises inner peace, wellness in body, and a heightened consciousness of our existence in this universe.
Our Yoga Discussion Group
I wholeheartedly welcome seekers from all walks of life to join our yoga discussion group. Here, we cultivate a vibrant, yet orderly space where every voice is heard, every thought matters, and every individual - from the novice explorer to the seasoned yogi - has invaluable wisdom to share and to gain.
The 8 Limbs of Yoga
- Yama: Ethical Practices
- Niyama: Personal Self-Care
- Asana: Physical Postures
- Pranayama: Breath Control
- Pratyahara: Sense Withdrawal
- Dharana: Focus (stage of meditation)
- Dhyana: Concentration (stage of meditation)
- Samadhi: Absorption (stage of meditation)
Our monthly discussions delve into one facet of the Eightfold Path at a time. As an inclusive platform, everyone gets a chance to share their insights, experiences, and inquiries, thereby contributing to our collective journey of understanding.
Here to Grow Together
While our conversations are thoughtfully moderated to stay on topic, we remind you that this is not an avenue for personal therapy. It is, instead, a space for communal growth, exploration, and learning.
No prior experience or expertise in yoga is required to participate and benefit. All you need to bring is your authentic self and an open mind for discussion (questions that pushback are encouraged).
Invite a friend and join our group of yogis. Everyone is welcome here!

Meet Jack
I'm Jack, a passionate yoga teacher who found solace and transformation in Vinyasa Yoga, Non-dual Philosophy, Bhakti, and Yoga Sutras. Since 2015, I've been on a heartfelt mission to share the life-changing power of yoga, helping others discover their inner heroes and experience personal growth. My own journey has been filled with adventure, exploration, and deep connections, and I feel blessed to guide my fellow yogis as they embark on their own paths of self-discovery and healing.
In 2022, I founded Asivana Yoga, after my travels in India, as an expression of my love for the yoga community and my desire to create a supportive business for practitioners from all walks of life. As an E-RYT 200 certified instructor, I pour my heart into teaching, striving to create a nourishing environment where students can connect with themselves and each other. I'm honored to share my passion for yoga at festivals, teacher training programs, and events across the country, where the power of community and shared experiences brings us all closer together.
Each time I step onto my mat, I am flooded with memories of the incredible journey that yoga has taken me on, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to guide others on their own transformative paths. It is my hope that, as we continue to explore and grow together, we can create a world where love, connection, and the spirit of adventure inspire us all.
