This celebration of music with The Halle and Goole's newest youth ensemble DeltaSide, will take you on a pixelated adventure, meeting heroes and villains along the way.
As a heroic troupe, we will travel through many realms; from fair Verona, to Bowser's castle and from Kokiri forest to the Nintendo Wii bowling alley! We'll hear the rival Montagues and Capulets by Prokofiev in the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet; explore the depths of Grieg's Hall of the Mountain King; and fly with The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams.
Using the gaming worlds as an avenue, the young musicians have explored the friendships and rivalries of characters and explored the unique environments they inhabit in brand-new music composed and performed by the ensemble DeltaSide.Join the acclaimed Halle Orchestra and DeltaSide for a wonderful evening of orchestral music for all the family celebrating creativity and community.
