750 for Peace FundraiserOpen Mic Night — Poetry & Music

On May 16, from 6:00–8:00 PM, Teajai Travis, with the generous support of Emmanuel United Church, will host a special open mic fundraiser in support of 750 for Peace.
This summer, Teajai will walk 750 km from Ottawa to Windsor, carrying a message of peace and unity while raising funds for local youth outreach programs.
This year’s walk will benefit:
• The Windsor Youth Centre (WYC)
• The Sandwich Teen Action Group (STAG)
About the Event
Join us for an evening of community, creativity, and connection.
Poets and musicians are invited to share a piece inspired by:
• Peace
• Travel
• Walking
• Journey
Whether you’re performing or simply listening, all are welcome.
Admission
Suggested offering: $25
(Pay-what-you-can — everyone is welcome)
