What is the 7 Plus Easter Course?
The 7+ Easter Course is an inspiring and enjoyable 4 day course designed to build confidence and knowledge in the imperative subjects needed to pass the 7+ exams: Mathematics, creative writing, comprehension and reasoning. Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Reasoning so children can achieve the fluidity needed. In addition, we will be introducing children to vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.
This course is suitable for children preparing for the independent schools in and around London. We have successfully prepared over 900 children over the past 12 years for schools such as: St. Paul’s, Wetherby, Latymer Upper, Dulwich College, King’s College, Bute House, Westminster, City of London and much more…
How is our course structured?
The Easter Course is a 4 day course running from 10am – 3.30pm each day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first two days of the course are dedicated to mathematics and non-verbal reasoning. The last two days of the course focus on comprehension, creative writing and verbal-reasoning.
Class size is limited, with a 7:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure focused and effective learning. Coursebooks and materials are provided throughout the course and returned to students at the end, allowing them to revise what was taught in class or practise topics our tutors have identified as sticking points before taking their exams.
A mock exam takes place during the course, so we can identify children’s weaknesses and respond accordingly by helping fill in the gaps or extending their knowledge to a greater depth. After the course, a written report with honest feedback and recommendations is emailed to parents ensuring parents are abreast of the insights we gather during the course.
These intensive courses are perfect for making the most of your child’s Easter holidays. Despite the intensive tuition, the class environment and lesson structure is built to be fun and engaging. This means that your child will be happy to learn, and more often than not, leave with a smile on their face and some new friends.

- Gaining fluidity in addition, subtraction, multiplication (maths)
- Dissecting money questions (maths)
- Exploring sequences and patterns (maths, reasoning)
- Punctuation use (creative writing)
- Planning and writing a story (creative writing)
- Figurative devices (comprehension and creative writing)
- Inference of texts (comprehension)
- Following instructions and listening skills (comprehension, creative writing, maths, reasoning)
- Exam technique (maths, creative writing and comprehension, reasoning)
You can book for the full 4 days, or you can opt to book 2 days of Maths/2 days of English.

The 7 Plus Easter Course is designed for Year 1 students preparing for 7+ independent school entrance exams, as well as Year 1 students gearing up for 8+/9+/11+ independent and grammar school exams. (Monday and Tuesday is dedicated to Maths/Wednesday and Thursday is dedicated to English)
WEEK TWO: Tuesday 7th April -Friday 10th April 2026
(Tuesday and Wednesday is dedicated to Maths/Thursday and Friday is dedicated to English)
Time: 10am - 3.30pm
Price: £715 for all 4 days or £380 for 2 days (2 days Maths or 2 days English)
We run several courses throughout the year: February half-term, Easter holidays, May half term, Summer holidays, October half term and Christmas. Each course differs and focuses on a different set of skill sets that will greatly benefit your child in exams and in later life. We recommend your child repeat our 7+ courses at different dates in order to cover everything necessary for the 7+ exams.
