We are pleased to announce that the 64th World Continuous Auditing & Reporting Symposium (64 WCARS) will be held virtually on December 13, 2024. On behalf of the Continuous Auditing & Reporting Lab (CAR Lab) at Rutgers Business School, we invite you to attend our symposium.
The 64 WCARS is a leading forum for the discussion of research and practice and of the application of technology to auditing and reporting. This symposium will be focused on Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed Reality for accounting pedagogy and practice. We are seeking a small, but active group for this first exploration, with a wide international representation to explore the potential benefits, risks, and practical aspects of VR.
Due to the active nature of the workshop, we are limiting participants to around 36 people. We will have a waiting list. Prioritization will be given based on prior experience and diverse points of view.
