Join us in space as we animate the Citadel’s Ross Centre for Dance along with Artists and Arts Organizations that have grounded KasheDance over the past three years.
This festival features elements from the KasheDance Konversations Digital Now Initiative, funded by Canada Council for the Arts, through which KasheDance has fortified kommunity connections and created art digitally.
You are invited to move, taste, create, witness, ask questions and share with us through a series of activities and performances.

Experience and Explore
1:00pm - 4:00pm
STUDIO: 40 minute workshops will be held in Vogue Hand-Performance, Afro-Cuban Dance and KasheDantek. Come expereince the movement, ask questions and engage in discussion!
THEATRE: Experience interactive displays featuring Caribbean Mas Culture, Indigenous Culture, and methods for Archiving Art. Come connect with leaders from across cultures and diciplines!
Convening of Jamaican Canadian / Caribbean Artists in celebration of Jamaica's 60th

Caribbean creatives have left significant contributions to the Arts in Canada. In celebration of Jamaica’s 60th anniversary of independence and under the patronage of the Jamaican Consul General, Lincoln G. Downer, with also attendance from the Caribbean Consular Corps, KasheDance invites Caribbean Canadian artists to celebrate both Jamaica and the Caribbean’s contribution to the Arts in the GTHA and across Canada. The meet and greet will celebrate the many ways in which Caribbean artists continue to shape Canadian culture locally and nationally.
Kashe Kommunity Kreation
We invite all who enter the space to add to our Kashe Kommunity Kreation - a beautiful Rug Art Installation that will be built over the next year, leading to the celebration of KasheDance's 15th Anniversary! Weave your presence into our legacy!
