Join Leeway Foundation and guest grantee Danya Abdelhameid + Chris Rogers from the Tanner House (MAR '23) for an in-person Media Artist + Activist Residency (MAR) Information Session. During the session, Leeway staff will walk through best practices for a successful application and Danya and Chris will share their experience working collaboratively together and applying for the residency. Snacks and light refreshments will be available.

About the Media Artist + Activist Residency (MAR)
The Media Artist + Activist Residency (MAR) provides grants of $25,000 to media artists working in close collaboration with social justice/cultural organizations to document, reframe, and/or amplify the issues and campaigns addressed by the organization. Venue Accessibility
The session will take place on the second floor of PhillyCAM, which is not an ADA accessible building. There are 15 steps leading to the second floor and a small elevator outside of the main entrance is available. The elevator entrance is 32" wide and the elevator interior is 48" wide, 36" deep, and 7 feet tall. There are gender neutral restrooms on site.
Cash-only parking is available in the Independence Lot (right across the street from PhillyCAM) and your parking ticket can be stamped and validated for $5.
Accommodations
ASL interpretation and childcare available by request when you RSVP at least two weeks ahead of the session date. Please let us know if you require these or any other accommodations in the event registration form. We’ll do our best to accommodate.
