Hosted by the Diamond Foundation, in partnership with Las Vegas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, this year we’re taking over the stunning Las Vegas Country Club for an unforgettable experience!

Kappa Derby Day brings the thrill of the Kentucky Derby to life, turning those exhilarating two minutes into a vibrant festival bursting with fashion, fun, food, drinks, dancing, and so much more. Savor classic Mint Juleps, indulge in delectable cuisine, and strut your stuff while dancing the afternoon away! Plus, get ready for our exciting raffle, where fabulous prizes await, including awards for the best-dressed female and male attendees—think stylish hats, chic apparel, and stunning footwear. And that’s not all—prepare for a “Seattle Slew” of amazing entertainment throughout the day!

To help young men and women across the Valley pursue their dreams of higher education. In just four years, we’ve proudly awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to deserving students from diverse backgrounds.

The Diamond Foundation (501c3 non-profit) is the philanthropic arm of the Las Vegas Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Las Vegas Alumni Chapter was founded in 1964. The foundation was first formed in 1993 under the Las Vegas Alumni Chapter. The name was changed to “The Diamond Foundation” in 2011. The foundation’s Mission is to “Uplift Youth through Scholarships, Community Involvement, and Health Awareness.” However, The Diamond Foundation is also responsible for contributions that have enhanced the lives of entire families, senior citizens, homeless individuals, and others who are less fortunate in the Greater Las Vegas community. This includes but is not limited to the following charitable efforts: Shop with a Kappa; Thanksgiving Baskets; College Scholarships, Personal Care/Underwear Items for Homeless individual,s and charitable collaborations with other non-profit organizations such as St. Jude and American Heart Association.
