5th Annual DBT Volunteer Appreciation Event

Fifth Annual DBT Volunteer Appreciation Event / Sunday November 16, 2025 at 4PM – 6PM
Please join us Sunday November 16th at 4pm for a simple gathering to honor all the people who make the Dharma Bum Temple so special. A chance to meet others who care for the DBT, as you are the heart of this Temple. We know that DBT is only possible because of so many volunteers, and we want to thank you.
Many of you manage programs, lead meditation morning, noon and night, are Dharma Bum Hosts, clean the Temple, care for the garden, participate in Food Redistribution, lead outreach programs at prison or mental health facilities, knit hats for the homeless, volunteer at our SD Pride events or PATH, help at Buddha for You, care for the library, or all of the above. We also know many of you have maybe never met since you are at the DBT at different times.
Please join us and come together with the people that make DBT a place of refuge for thousands of people. We will have a brief meditation at 4pm followed by a sharing of thoughts from those who want to share. At 5pm we will go downstairs for some dinner and dessert. We will provide the dinner, you are welcome to bring desserts if you like.
