Welcome to the fifth annual Bonnets and Beards (Marshfield High Low 4s)!
Information:
High/Low grass quads volleyball tournament.
Sign up as a team of 4 (2 guys and 2 girls).
Entry fee: $60 per team.
36 teams max.
Payout dependent on number of teams. To be determined closer to event.
Play will begin at 9 AM sharp, and we will have a captains meeting before this at 8:45 AM.
Each team will need to pay their entire team's entry fee before being allowed to play.
Rules:
- No open hand tips.
- No setting over.
- Let serves are not allowed.
- If a player enters the other court at any point in time, the ball is dead, even if no games are happening on the other courts.
- Directional blocks are legal.
- Doubles are legal on hand sets.
- If there are any arguments, replay the point.
During girls' games, normal pure reverse rules will apply.
- Guys cannot jump serve, block, or attack (any ball sent over with a swinging motion must be flat-footed and travel in an upward trajectory).
Pool play will be one set of each high and low, each to 20 points, capped at 20 points (30 for pools of 3).
Bracket games will be 21-21-15 (third only if needed).
The third set will be a split of both high and low. The team that won the combined most points from sets 1 and 2 will choose if they want to start at high or low. Teams will switch to the other net height when the first team reaches 8 points.
We will once again be using my single+ elimination style bracket. Everyone makes bracket play, and depending on the first round of bracket play, teams will be placed into lower or upper. Each team is guaranteed two games of bracket play in addition to pool play!

Extra Information:
As of now, there will not be any food or drinks available for purchase, so please make sure that you bring anything that you want for the day. There will likely be time between games or before bracket play that you will have the opportunity to go grab lunch if needed, but I cannot guarantee that every team will have this time. It all depends on how the day turns out.
After party will be at Oso’s Brewing Company.
