About this Event

Ready to move, connect, and create? Join 5K Steps & Snapshots, an 8-week wellbeing project designed exclusively for men in Waltham Forest. Combining gentle walking, meaningful conversation, and smartphone photography, this programme is all about improving your mental and physical wellbeing while exploring both green spaces and urban areas across Waltham Forest.

Whether you’re looking to build a new routine, boost your mood, or see your surroundings through a fresh lens, this project offers a friendly, supportive environment to walk, talk, and focus with purpose.


What to Expect:

  • Walk approximately 5,000 steps each session through a mix of parks, waterways, and vibrant urban streets.
  • Take part in guided photography exercises to capture the beauty and unique character of Waltham Forest.
  • Enjoy group conversations to connect with other men, share experiences, and build friendships.
  • Boost your physical activity and wellbeing in a relaxed, supportive environment.
  • Refreshments provided at each session.
  • Receive a Free Winter Warmer Pack for participating.

  • Part 2: 10 Jan – 31 Jan 2026
  • Time: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Meeting Point: St James Street Station, E17 7PJ
  • Duration: 1.5 hours per session
  • Cost: Free

This project is open to all men over 18 living in Waltham Forest who want to improve their wellbeing, meet new people, and explore creative ways to engage with their community.
