Guided by an experienced facilitator, you’ll explore literary devices, tackle creative prompts, and receive supportive feedback as you develop a brand-new piece—step by step. We kick things off with a warm welcome and a free-flow writing session before breaking down the writing process into five approachable phases. With group check-ins along the way, you’ll shape your words into something raw, real, and ready to be shared.
Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just getting started, this workshop offers a safe space to explore, experiment, and elevate your voice. By the end, you’ll not only have a fresh piece of writing but also a deeper connection to your creative flow—and maybe even the courage to perform it aloud.

Meet Your Teacher
Chris, aka Mulv Jones, is a writer, poet, and musician from Littleton, Colorado. He is a certified yoga teacher, a big fan of the outdoors, and a person who vacillates between being a townie and a tumbleweed. Mulv has 2 self-published poetry books and loves to host creative events. He has facilitated open mics, variety shows, and writing workshops on 4 continents!
When he isn’t writing or making music, Mulv loves to be active. He enjoys yoga, hiking, biking, and snowboarding. When the moment calls, he also welcomes the opportunity to write Harry Potter erotica or Star Wars fan fiction! Mulv is currently in the middle of his journey to become a licensed counselor.

All The Details:
- Age Level: 13+
- Skill Level: Beginner
- Please bring your notebook and pencil
- Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
- Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 18 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
- Class will run approximately 2 hours.
- Please plan accordingly and arrive on time!
Cancellation Policy:
Changes and cancellations… We know life happens, so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and prepare for each class. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any refunds or credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
