Gelli Printing is an addictive process that allows you to create one-off and unique prints, by using mark-making tools, stencils, image transfer, posca pens, oil pastels and much more to create an intriguing piece of art. The Gelli Plate is a reusable printing surface made of a non-toxic synthetic gelatin and is vegan friendly.There will be no pressure during the session to create a finalised piece of art or to design a perfect piece of work. It is about letting yourself go creatively, finding a visual release and enjoying the process.
Art is good for the soul, it helps release stress and anxiety, develops dexterity, creative thinking, mindfulness & problem solving. But most of all, art is a fun expressive form of communication that everyone should embrace!
Get ready for some exploration into a new technique, or to visit an old one - there is no experience needed at all for you to enjoy this addictive process. Join me and other creatives for a while day of relaxation, mindfulness art, a hot beverage and a biscuit (or two!).
Lunch is not included but please do feel free to bring your own. There is a kitchen that can be used if needed.
