📚 Oak Cliff Book Crawl – FAQs

Q: What time does it start?
A: The Book Crawl runs from 11 AM – 5 PM, but be sure to check the individual bookstores you plan to visit for their specific schedules.

Q: Are all the bookstores close to each other?
A: All the stops are within Oak Cliff and are easy to get between. Pan-African Connection, one of the oldest Black-owned bookstores in the area, does require a short drive. We recommend starting or ending your crawl there!

Q: What about parking?
A: 5 of the bookstores are located in or near the Bishop Arts area and parking is limited in the area. If you live nearby, we encourage you to walk or ride your bike. If you’re driving to Oak Cliff, consider carpooling and using the parking lots in and around Bishop Arts. Don’t forget—public transit and ridesharing are great options too! Please note the Whose Book parking lot will be used for the vendors and outdoor festivities.

Q: Can I set up as a vendor or sell my books?
A: Please check with the individual bookstores directly for vendor opportunities. Whose Books has already confirmed their list of vendors.

Q: What else is there to do near the Book Crawl?
A: Absolutely everything! Take time to explore and support the neighborhood’s small businesses. You’ll find a little bit of everything, from long stading mom-and-pop shops to swanky bars and great retail spots. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.
