Each person is given a small A6 sketchbook and a stick of graphite. The objective of the workshop is to walk through two free exhibitions and make 41 fast paced drawings in 2 hours.

We will visit the free exhibition at OPEN EYE GALLERY:

Casey Orr - Saturday Town

Saturday Town is a photography series by the award-winning photographer Casey Orr. Since 2013 Casey has travelled throughout the UK with her pop-up portrait studio photographing young people on Saturday afternoons. The project explores fashion, identity and the self-expression of young people on Saturday afternoons on the high streets and public spaces of towns across the country. We will spend one hour at this exhibition.

We will then walk over the road to TATE LIVERPOOL (RIBA North) and visit their free exhibition:

RESOLVE COLLECTIVE - You Get a Car (Everybody Gets a Car)

Explore interactive installations created by RESOLVE Collective in Tate Liverpool + RIBA North. RESOLVE has been working with communities across Liverpool to redistribute and re-use material from Tate Liverpool's site on the Albert Dock. Their work aims to create a sustainable legacy of redistribution in Liverpool which has a positive, long-term impact for the climate and creative aims of community organisations across Liverpool. You'll also see a series of films following the collective's work with the community organisations across Liverpool. We will spend one hour at this exhibition.

There will be lots of objects and starting points for conversation and inspiration to make some drawings. All abilities are welcome and this workshop is free to access.
