About this Event
Celebrating 40 years of the Hopkins studio building and its use of Patera, the revolutionary mass produced system for standardised buildings.
This kit of parts system offered speed, efficiency, sustainability and new ways to imagine and design buildings, and was used by Hopkins for a number of demountable structures in the 80s and 90s including the practice's own studio in Marylebone.
How might we revisit this system to address some of the challenges the industry faces today?
Welcome, talk and building tours with refreshments.
6.30pm arrival for talk at 7pm, followed by building tours.
