About this Event
Meditation is our specialty at the DRC. Each year we offer several 40-hour professional mediation courses for people interested in learning the philosophy, process, and practice of Interest-Based Mediation.
Whether you are looking to strengthen relationships, grow your professional skillset, or become a certified mediator, this training is your first step. You’ll explore the philosophy, process, and practical tools of interest based mediation – skills that translate seamlessly into any setting, from the workplace to your community. Completion of this course is the first step towards becoming a DRC Certified Mediator. Join us and start making a peaceful difference!
We design our trainings to help participants build confidence and courage through hands-on, engaging learning. We use a variety of methods – like short lectures, role plays, and individual or group activities- to support different learning styles and goals. Participants will have plenty of opportunities to practice skills in real time.
This training falls over four consectutive Saturdays in March, 2025. Please make note of the schedule and plan to be available for all 4 saturdays in order to recieve your Certificate of Completion.
