If you want a quality program that will prepare you for the real world of interpreting, you have found it!. This professional training is for you.
This training is interactive and high energy with individual work as well as group activities, resourceful, and skills-based. The sessions will teach you what you need to know to work as a professional interpreter.
During the training, you will learn the interpreters' roles, ethics, modes of interpreting, and more! this training provides the prerequisite for national medical interpreting certification.
This is a language-neutral course, taught in English, and is open to speakers of all languages.
Prior experience in interpreting fields is not required.
Price includes language assessments in English and one other language, all materials/books, final test, and certificate. Class participants must prove proficiency in English and one additional language. Minimum age is 18 and minimum education high school diploma/GED or equivalent from other country.
This training is 36 hours via Zoom and 4 hours in person
Schedule:
- Week 1: Monday, December 2nd - Friday, December 6th from 6pm -10pm (ZOOM)
- Week 2: Tuesday, December 10th - Friday, December 13th from 6pm -10pm (ZOOM)
Saturday, December 14th from 9am to 1pm (in-person) TBD (Final Exam)
In order to receive the certificate for the training, you must attend all sessions, pass the final exam at a grade of 75% or better.
