  2. THURSDAY, JANUARY 30TH (9AM-1PM)
  3. MONDAY, FEBRUARY 3RD (12:45PM-5PM
  4. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH (9AM-3PM)
  5. FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH (9AM-12:15PM)
  6. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH (9AM-1:30PM)
  7. THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13TH (9AM-5PM)

All training dates will take place via Zoom.


Become a Center for Domestic Peace Certified Domestic Violence Advocate!

Through the 40-hour training program, attendees learn practical, hands-on skills that will enable them to:

  1. Describe the problem of domestic violence and discover solutions.
  2. Assist survivors and abusers seeking to free themselves from domestic violence.
  3. Understand the barriers that survivors face when trying to get help.
  4. Understand how culture shapes each individual's experience.
  5. Imagine and participate in transforming society's norms from domestic violence to healthy and equal relating.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

As this is a certification, prompt virtual attendance and full participation is mandatory for each training day in order to receive the 40-Hour Domestic Violence Advocate Certification. Make-up days will not be available until the following training in July 2025.

This course earns you a Domestic Violence Advocate Certificate valid in California. It is the first step required in becoming a Domestic Violence Counselor as defined by California Evidence code 1037.1(a) or a ManKind, WomanKind class facilitator. If you are interested in becoming a Domestic Violence Counselor or ManKind, WomanKind class facilitator, additional training will be required by C4DP.

Registration fee includes a full 7-day training curriculum and manual. There is a half-hour break for lunch each day and several breaks throughout the agenda. We do not offer refunds.

A printed manual with handouts and other materials is included as part of the training fee. Manual pickup will be in San Rafael, CA, more details to come. Training registrants who are unable to pickup their workbook in person may be required to pay an additional $23 flat-rate shipping & handling fee.
