- Basic introduction to equipment, tools and safety. We will then dive right in to learning how to gather glass from our furnace and becoming familiar with the material.
- Once comfortable you can move on to practicing shaping our glass on our steel table (Marver) and then maneuvering to our bench and practice placing Jack lines.
Week 2: June 21st

- Getting comfortable moving around the studio, getting your gathers and shaping your glass are key skills to making your first pieces of glass. The simplest items to make in the glass studio are solid objects. These will help you practice the basic techniques.
