About this Event
🤖 LEGO Robotics & Coding Camp
Dates: August 3–7 | Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Ages: 6–12
Two groups one camp. Campers ages 6-8 and 9-12 will launch into the world of technology and design at our LEGO Robotics & Creative Coding Camp! This high-energy week blends engineering, real-world coding, and digital artistry. Whether your child is a master builder or a curious beginner, they’ll spend the week bringing their wildest ideas to life using the latest tools from LEGO and Apple.
🛠️ What We’ll Explore:
- LEGO Robotics: Build and program robots! Campers will use sensors and motors to solve tricky engineering problems.
- Coding with Swift Playgrounds: Learn the same language used by professional app developers. Using Apple’s Swift Playgrounds, kids will solve interactive puzzles and control characters through code in a fun, gamified environment.
- "Everyone Can Create" Projects: Technology meets art! Using iPads, campers will dive into creative "maker" projects, learning to design digital logos, create stop-motion animations, and use "Markup" to turn photos of their robots into comic book heroes.
đź’ˇ Why Join This Camp?
- Hands-On Learning: We move beyond the screen with physical building and tactile crafts.
- Future Skills: Develop logical thinking, grit through "debugging," and creative confidence.
- Apple Integrated: We utilize Apple’s premier education curriculum to ensure every child, from drawing enthusiasts to logic lovers, finds their spark.

Why This Matters for Parents
We know "one more form" can be a hassle, but this system is specifically designed to keep your child safe while they are in our care:
- Insurance Coverage: Once your child’s profile is marked "Active," they are automatically covered by 4-H accidental insurance for the duration of the camp.
- Instant Medical Access: In the event of an allergy or emergency, our staff has immediate, secure access to the digital health forms and emergency contacts you provide.
- Privacy First: The system is PCI and HIPAA compliant, meaning your family’s sensitive medical and personal data is kept strictly confidential and secure.
- Stay in the Loop: You’ll receive important camp updates, arrival/departure details, and information on future youth scholarships and events.
How to Register
- Create a Family Profile: If you are new to 4-H, start by creating one primary account for your household.
- Add Your Camper: Create an individual profile for each child attending camp.
- Complete the Health Form: Ensure the medical section is up-to-date so our camp counselors are fully prepared to support your child.
