Their mission is not just to recreate the past but to infuse today’s music landscape with the timeless essence of true R&B and Soul music deeply rooted in the foundation of gospel.This dynamic ensemble features the legendary founding members of Tony! Toni! Toné!: Elijah Baker, Antron Haile, and Carl Wheeler. Joining them are Jubu Smith, who became an integral part of Tony Toni Toné during the creation of their iconic second album, The Revival, and Amar Khalil, who took the lead as the band’s vocalist after Raphael Saadiq’s departure in 1998. Khalil’s remarkable 20-year tenure with the original group stands as a testament to his enduring influence. In 2022, Antron Haile’s nephew, Lionel “LJ” Holoman, joined 3TOB as the youngest member.
3TOB is poised to bring back the magic of their timeless music for fans and new listeners alike! We are on a mission to revive the soulful and high-quality music that Tony! Toni! Toné! was renowned for. With a commitment to live instruments and traditional production techniques, the band is determined to restore the authentic sound that has been missing in today’s music landscape.
