Join us for the 3rd Annual Walking Bold Initiatives: Youth Changemakers Sparking Impact Walk-a-thon, an empowering event designed to uplift youth, promote community engagement, and support vital causes such as youth entrepreneurship, equitable education, social-emotional learning, and trauma-response initiatives.
This year’s walk-a-thon will take place at the iconic National Mall at the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC). Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the PROMISE Youth & Sports Academy, enabling us to secure a dedicated practice indoor/outdoor space for our youth programs. Together, we can create a space for growth, education, and empowerment for our future leaders.
What to Expect:
- A fun and inspiring walk-a-thon event where participants will walk, run, and engage in a fitness challenge
- All ages welcome – bring your friends, family, and colleagues to join in the fun
- A community-driven atmosphere where we support the dreams and aspirations of youth changemakers
- Each participant will receive a Walk-a-thon t-shirt as a thank-you for your participation
