Come join us at 4 World Trade Center for a day filled with inspiring stories, valuable resources, and connections with fellow veterans. This in-person/virtual event is your chance to share your experiences, learn from others, and be a part of a supportive community.

Our guest speakers include Terrance Hayes and Marine Gunnery Sergeant Eliezer Gomez.

Terrence L. Hayes was appointed by President Biden as Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs (OPIA), on May 15, 2024. In this role, Mr. Hayes leads VA’s earned media, marketing campaigns, crisis and rapid response communications, PACT Act communications, and serves as the official spokesperson for the Department.

Gunnery Eliezer Gomez is the Logistics Chief for Marine Aircraft Group 49 Detachment B in Newburgh, New York. He oversees supply and logistical operations and manages fiscal accounts, prioritizing the well-being of his Marines. Previously, he served as a Recruiter in the 6th Marine Corps District, helping 168 transitioning Marines rejoin service. His military experience includes Operation Iraqi Freedom, and he has earned the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (twice) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five times).
