3rd Annual SABREP Community Impact Day

Community Impact Day is part of a nationwide initiative led by the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), where more than 100 cities across the country come together on the same day to connect families with the education, resources, and support needed to pursue homeownership and build generational wealth.

Here in San Antonio, the event is led by the San Antonio Black Real Estate Professionals (SABREP), bringing together community leaders, housing professionals, and organizations committed to strengthening our community through homeownership.

For many families, the path to homeownership can feel complicated or out of reach. Community Impact Day is designed to break down those barriers by bringing together trusted experts, community organizations, and public leaders who are committed to expanding access to opportunity.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in homeownership education sessions, financial literacy workshops, and conversations with professionals who can help guide them through the process of preparing for and purchasing a home. Whether you are exploring homeownership for the first time or looking to strengthen your financial future, this event is designed to equip you with practical information and real resources.

A special panel featuring state and local representatives, city council members, and community leaders will discuss important topics impacting our community, including housing affordability and access to resources at the local and state level. This conversation will provide insight into how policy, advocacy, and community partnerships work together to expand access to homeownership opportunities.

Community Impact Day will also feature organizations and professionals offering information and support in areas such as:

• Homeownership preparation
• Financial literacy and budgeting
• Credit education
• Down payment assistance programs
• Housing and community resources

Attendees will have the chance to connect directly with professionals who are committed to helping individuals and families move forward on their path toward homeownership.

Retired NFL players will be joining us to support the event and connect with the community through a meet-and-greet and autograph opportunity. Their presence highlights the importance of community engagement, mentorship, and investing back into the communities that helped shape their journey.
