Doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Law are invited to compete in our joint Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Heat. This is your opportunity to showcase your research in a dynamic, compelling way and earn a place in the University 3MT Final. Whether your work explores markets, governance, regulation, justice, finance, entrepreneurship, or public policy, this is your moment to make it resonate beyond your discipline.
3MT is more than a competition. It is a chance to sharpen your research narrative, strengthen your public speaking skills, and communicate the significance of your work with clarity and confidence. You will connect with fellow doctoral researchers across both faculties while refining a skill that is invaluable in academia, industry, and policy settings.
All doctoral candidates from the Faculty of Business and Economics and the Faculty of Law are eligible to enter.
To register for the joint 3MT Heat, click on “Reserve a spot” before the deadline. You will need: Your supervisors’ names and email addresses A title for your 3MT presentation A 100-word summary of your talk Step up, take the stage, and show us why your research matters.
