Come and participate in the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) heat specifically for Arts and Education doctoral students. This is your chance to win a place in the University of Auckland 3MT Final on 17 July 2026.

3MT is an unmissable opportunity to refine your research elevator pitch, enhance your presentation skills and drive the impact of your research. Get involved to build your skills, confidence and connections across the research community.

All doctoral candidates are eligible to enter.

Make sure you register for the Faculty of Arts and Education 3MT Heat by clicking on 'Reserve a spot' button by deadline of midday, Tuesday, 2nd June. You'll need:

• Supervisors' names and email addresses

• A title for your 3MT talk

• 100 word summary of your talk

Please note -

Although our registration closing date is 2nd June, early bird entries received on or before the 30 April will have an opportunity to participate in the training sessions offered by the School of Graduate Studies in preparation for the Heats and the University Finals.
